1) I do not receive notifications of new shocks: why?
More and more often we come across energy saving systems on Android phones that put applications in "hibernation". To receive the notifications correctly, you must prevent Terremoti Italia from ending up on the list of those to "fall asleep".

2) Why does not the widget work anymore?
You have probably moved the application to SD. Android does not allow app widgets to work on SD.

There is a minimum delay with which the INGV publishes data. There are currently no faster sources. Sometimes the delay can also increase (1 hour); rarely decrease.

6) The application would be more useful if you gave the warning BEFORE the shock. It can be done?
It seems like a joke, but from time to time this question is asked (even in the comments to the app). Unfortunately, the scientific knowledge to date DO NOT ALLOW THE time and place of the shakes. In Italy we are at the forefront of research in this field and we know very well, however, which areas are most at risk where it must be built with due caution!

7) Why is the time shown different from that of the INGV site?
The time of the INGV site is that of Greenwich without daylight saving time. The application, instead, shows the correct time with the phone settings (+2 in Italy with daylight saving time).

8) Could a filter be added to the places of interest?
The localities are added by INGV technicians and it is said that they follow a well-defined convention: a distance-based filter is available and the distance of the shock is displayed.

9) Could you have a longer history?
The historian is based on data from the Italian Seismic Bulletin that dates back to 2002 and on a historical database with data up to the year 1000.

10) What do earthquakes of other nations have to do with it?
In some cases the INGV also includes these earthquakes, evidently because of considerable intensity and also detected by us.

11) When I open the map the app crashes.
There are some devices on the market with bad ROMs, on which the apps that use Google maps (except Google Maps) do not work.
